What to store in your medical bag

This article is not necessary about which medical bag to use, but more so about how to set your bag up ready for use. For more information regarding our medical bags, shop here.

Green is the standard colour for a medical bag in the UK, whereas EMS services will use blue or red. It really is just a preference however green can stand out from other bags allowing you to identify the bag more smoothly amongst others. Our bags provide storability for up to 30 litres which is more than enough for dedicated responders. A paramedic with additional equipment and drugs can use our external medicine pouches. No matter how big your bag is you will always fill it and you have to carry it.

Medicine pouches can be great for organising kit but it’s not always necessary. Our 30L carry-on bag can be sub-divided allowing you to organise equipment more easily.

Laying out the bag

Lay your bag out in order of accident procedure, whether you follow DRABC, AcBC or MARCH, the procedure focuses your attention on the most important issues first. The equipment listed below is just a guide and does not advocate the use by anyone without sufficient training.
